Filtering the training data

The following steps will show how to create a series of filters to refine the data as the ISPD course is only one of the courses included in the Compliance Report. These can be bookmarked for convenience when running reports in the future.

Filter the data down to the ISDP course

  1. Navigate to the right-hand side of the data, where there are pre-set filters for each field.
  2. Scroll towards the bottom of the list and select Training Providers.
  3. In the Training Provider filter, select MetaCompliance.
  4. Select the filter directly above the Training Provider called Training Course Name. This filter will now only include MetaCompliance courses in the report.  
  5. Select the top 3 courses, these are for staff. The bottom 2 are for students only. 

Apply two filters to exclude staff that have left so that only current staff are in the report

  1. Expand the Email filter and select, Select all 
  2. Then untick (Blank) 
  3. Expand the Person Number filter and select, Select all
  4. Then untick (Blank)

Create a bookmark to make these filters your default each time you open a report

  1. Find the Bookmarks icon (from the list of icons in the top right-hand corner of the page) and select the drop-down arrow next to it. 
  2. Select Add a personal bookmark
  3. Name the bookmark.
  4. Select Make it the default view - optional.  If set the filters will be applied by default every time the report is opened.
  5. Select Save
