Waiting lists

Waiting lists for courses with no dates

Please complete our waiting list form to let us know you are interested in a course that isn't currently bookable.

We will email you the next time the course is scheduled. That email is not reserving a place for you or guaranteeing a place is available; you will still need to book your own place on the course using the online booking system.

We will use this information to help us with future planning, and we may contact you to check that you are still interested in a particular course.

Waiting lists for an existing course date

Our courses are popular and they often have waiting lists. If a course date is full, you can put yourself on to the waiting list by clicking on the Waiting List button during the booking process. For courses with a fee, you do not have to pay to get on the list. You will be sent an email to confirm that you are on the waiting list.

We manage our waiting lists on a first-come, first-served basis. If a course attracts a long waiting list, we do our best to organise extra courses.

What to do if you are offered a place

If a place becomes available, you will be sent a course booking email. If you would like to attend the course and it is a charged for course please follow the instructions in the email to make payment.

If you no longer require the place you must cancel it so that we can offer it to someone else:

  1. You can cancel your booked place by signing in to the Course Booking System (CoSy) and clicking on the My courses tile. This will give a list of your courses.
  2. Click on the Cancel button next to the course. You will be asked to confirm your cancellation.
  3. When you cancel please select the reason "Was on waiting list – cannot attend".
  4. An email will be sent to you confirming the cancellation of your place.
