The Training Management and Development team is currently piloting three external platforms—Coursecheck, Verbit, and Accredible—to explore how they can enhance feedback collection, accessibility, and credentialing across University training services.
Coursecheck: Streamlining feedback collection
What it is: A survey platform tailored for training providers, Coursecheck automates feedback collection via email and QR codes, linking surveys to courses using unique Accessplanit IDs.
What it offers CoSy:
- Automated survey distribution via XML/API integration with Accessplanit.
- QR codes for in-session feedback and email templates for post-course surveys.
- A dashboard for training managers that displays course scores and feedback summaries—doing the hard work of analysing the data.
- Workflow automation for survey and certificate delivery.
Who’s using it: The pilot currently includes Digital Capabilities, Competency Centres, CTL, and POD.
Verbit: Enhancing accessibility with transcription
What it is: Verbit is an AI-powered transcription and captioning service supporting accessibility and compliance in digital learning environments.
What it offers CoSy:
- High-quality transcription for recorded sessions.
- Captioning support for live and asynchronous content.
- Alignment with Oxford’s digital accessibility strategy.
Who’s piloting it: Digital Capabilities, IT Services, and the Training Management and Development team.
Accredible: Modern credentialing and pathways
What it is: Accredible is a digital credentialing platform for issuing secure, verifiable certificates and badges.
What it offers CoSy:
- Issuance of digital certificates and badges via spreadsheet upload or API.
- Analytics on credential engagement and sharing.
- The Pathways feature guides learners through progressive achievements.
Who’s piloting it: The Training Management and Development team.
What we’re evaluating
As part of these pilots, we are assessing:
Scalability: Can the tool support wider rollout across departments and training formats?
Digital accessibility: Does the tool meet Oxford’s accessibility standards?
Ease of Use: Is the interface intuitive for training administrators and delegates?
Ease of Integration: How smoothly does the tool integrate with existing workflows?
Integration with Accessplanit: For Coursecheck and Accredible, we are testing how well they connect with Accessplanit’s course data and automation features.
Time savings: Does the tool reduce manual effort and streamline processes for training teams?
Support and responsiveness: How well do the vendors respond to queries and adapt to Oxford’s needs?
Data Protection: Are the tools compliant with Oxford’s data protection requirements?
Timeline
Some pilots began in 2024, and the full trial period runs from now until Summer 2026. This allows time to assess performance across multiple academic cycles and training formats.
