IT Learning Portfolio icon

Julia in a nutshell: Julia was written from the ground up to support scientific computing. With a focus on speed, reproducibility, and developer productivity, Julia offers a fast and efficient alternative to R, Python, MatLab, and other languages.

Julia is open sourced under an MIT license and is one of the most loved languages according to the Stack Overflow 2019 developers survey. The Julia community has created many world class packages such as JuMP.jl, DifferentialEquations.jl, Turing.jl, MLJ.jl which are all cutting edge in their domains.

Julia has an active presence on Discourse, Slack, and Stack Overflow where you can find answers to questions and chat with the very active and helpful community.
