As part of our expanding on-demand digital skills offer, we've worked with Microsoft to make a range of resources available through our Resource Finder and are freely available to members of the University. These include short courses, virtual training sessions, and video tutorials—all designed to help you build confidence with commonly used tools like Excel, Teams, and Power BI
Microsoft Virtual Training Hours
Microsoft Virtual Training Hours offer a flexible and comprehensive way to enhance your digital skills. These sessions are presented by expert instructors and cover a wide range of topics, from beginner to advanced levels. The training hours are designed to fit into your schedule, allowing you to learn at your own pace and convenience.
From Power BI and Excel, through to PowerPoint and Copilot Studio there's something for everyone. These sessions are free and available online at a range of times.
Free LinkedIn Learning Courses
Microsoft has partnered with LinkedIn Learning to provide access to a plethora of courses that don't require a LinkedIn account to complete. This means you can start learning right away without the hassle of signing up. However, if you wish to receive a certificate of completion, you will need to log in with a LinkedIn account.
