The Self-Service Training Data Reports Suite

Managed by the Training Management team at IT Services, the Self-Service Training Data Reports suite is a powerful tool that combines training data from the CoSy training platform with various 'people datasets' such as HR, CUD, and SITS. This integration allows for comprehensive tracking of training uptake and completion.

The suite offers two distinct types of reporting:

  • Compliance reporting: Provides visibility into the completion of compliance-related courses.

  • Uptake reporting: Shows booked and completed training courses based on the full list of courses available in CoSy and Metacompliance platforms.

These reports are easily accessible using Power BI, and the data can be exported to tools such as Excel.

Eligible users of this service include HR administrators, divisional and departmental administrators, Athena SWAN coordinators, and training managers with reporting responsibilities.

Since its launch at the start of April 2022, the Self-Service Training Data Reports suite has attracted 322 users.

Changes to course data sources

Notably, from 1 June this year, the new Information Security course data from the MetaCompliance platform was also incorporated into the reporting. But where we have gained one feed, we have lost another with the closure of the university-wide subscription to LinkedIn Learning at the end of July 2024.
