New on-demand digital skills offer

We are excited to share details about our new free to access on-demand digital skills offer. This includes courses and resources to better support you to develop the digital skills and capabilities you need to thrive at Oxford.

Our on-demand provision now includes:

  • Microsoft Learn and Microsoft Support to help you develop your skills and use of both familiar and new apps available in Nexus365 to support you in your work and study

  • O’Reilly to develop your programming and coding skills (plus much more)

  • Adobe Creative Cloud Learn to enhance your digital creative skills

  • Jisc to support you with the fundamentals of AI

Discover these - and much more - in our resource finder. We'll be introducing curated links before 31st July.

As the digital skills landscape is rapidly evolving, we will continue to add to our on-demand offer to meet the needs of our users. At the same time, we will be saying goodbye to Microsoft LinkedIn Learning.

What do I need to do now that LinkedIn Learning is going?

Before the end of July 2024:

  • Complete any Microsoft LinkedIn Learning courses you are part way through. You will lose access to any in-progress courses associated with your Single Sign-on (SSO) after this time. Use this web page to access the platform.

From August 2024, if you are a LinkedIn member, you should still be able to  access up to 10 LinkedIn Learning courses each month for free, but you will no longer be able to download certificates.

Contact  courses@it.ox.ac.uk  if you have questions about any of the above information or have any recommendations for courses or resources to include in our new on-demand offer in the future.
